I know everyone has peanut butter cookies, but these are THE BEST! And I'm not just bragging, cause I got this recipe from my mom. (Just in case any of my sisters don't have this one he he he, ya right.)
Ingredients:
1 3/4 c flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 c shortening
2 Tbs milk
1 egg
Directions:
Roll dough in small 1 in balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 375* for 10-12 min
While cookie is still hot press down with fork or top with Hershey kisses. For another fun variation, try rolling dough around a Rollo (thanks Beth), mini Butterfingers, mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cup or some other bite size candy bar.
