ALMOND COCONUT BARS

I decided we needed a dessert on here.
Okay, if any of you haven't tried these yet, they are the BOMB! They taste just like Almond Joy bars. And they're also super easy!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 1 pkg)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg (7 oz) flaked coconut
2 cups semisweet choc chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
24 whole almonds

In a small bowl combine graham cracker crumbs and butter.
Press into ungreased 9x13x2" baking pan. Combine milk and
coconut; carefully spreading over crust.

Bake at 350* for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.

In microwave bowl, combine choc chips and peanut butter.
Microwave on high for 1 min; stir. Microwave 30-60 seconds
longer or until chips are melted; stir until smooth.

Spread over warm bars. Garnish with almonds. Refrigerate
for 1 hour before cutting.

I tried them and they are good!!! They do taste a lot like an Almond Joy.

I used milk chocolate chips though and they were still good. I also couldn't get them out of the pan. I don't know what would happen if you sprayed the pan, maybe they would be to greasy.

But definitely a must try!

I found if you don't press them in to the pan too hard, and you get them out before they get too stiff, they come out just fine. They are super good!
