Stromboli
Oh my my.... my my! This is sooo good! And it made me feel like a real fancy cook (but was really easy)
Ingredients:
1 Rhodes bread dough (frozen)
1/4 lb ham, sliced
1/4 lb pastrami
1/4 lb provolone cheese
3/4 C mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
olive oil
cornmeal
spaghetti sauce (for dipping)
Directions:
Thaw bread dough. Spread dough out on a cookie sheet. (You want to go kinda big, maybe as big as you can with out it tearing, while fitting on your pan. It's gotta fit around a lot of meat and cheese.)
Layer meat in middle of dough lengthwise. Sprinkle 1/4 oregano and 1/4 basil over meat. Add cheeses on top of meat. Add remaining oregano and basil.
Wet edges of the dough and fold over meat (making a long skinny loaf) press edges together and fold under ends. Brush olive oil over loaf and sprinkle lightly with corn meal. Carefully flip Stromboli over and repeat on the other side.
Bake at 375* for 20-22 min until golden brown. Serve with hot spaghetti sauce for dipping.
DON'T get intimidated by this! It is really very easy! I was super scared and mine turned out GREAT (and I really can't cook) And wow! You could impress anyone with this!!

OH MY GOSH! this was soo good! it was so easy to make, other than thawing out the dough overnight you can throw this together in 5 minutes and have it cooked in 20! we were thinking you could also add olives, or pepperoni, or onions if you wanted, its like LaPizzaria Calzones!
We were also thinking you could put bacon, ham and turkey and make it like a club sandwich! Many, many choices.
